The Fernox CC1 Side Stream Filter Air & Dirt 90 is an all-in-one solution engineered to deliver effective water quality management in commercial HVAC systems. It combines magnetic separation, fine particulate filtration, air removal and chemical dosing in a single compact, wall-mounted unit.
The unit is supplied as a complete package, including a 0.5 micron antimicrobial cartridge filter, thermal jacket and pressure & temperature gauge, together with four 8,500 Gauss neodymium magnets, an automatic air vent, stainless steel isolation valves, backing plate and dedicated drain and fill fittings.
Using four high-strength neodymium magnets and an antimicrobial nylon cartridge, the CC1 removes ferrous debris, non-magnetic solids, suspended contaminants, biofouling and entrained air from circulating system water. The antimicrobial cartridge provides filtration down to 0.5 micron, while the automatic air vent continuously releases separated air and microbubbles.
Its 316 stainless steel vessel is polished internally to help minimise bacterial colonisation and support easy cleaning. The unit is designed for continuous operation without requiring system shutdown during routine dosing and debris removal, making it suitable for commercial applications where system uptime is critical.
The CC1 is designed to support BSRIA BG29 and BG50 requirements for commissioning, maintenance and system water quality management.
