Fernox Power Cleaner F8 10L is a super strength, fast-acting cleaner formulated for use in large and heavily contaminated commercial and light commercial heating systems. Its citrate-based, pH neutral formulation effectively removes sludge, debris and limescale without the need to neutralise. The product helps to extend system life and restore heating efficiency in accordance with BS 7593:2019 and industry best practice.
One 10L container of Power Cleaner F8 treats up to approximately 2000 litres of system water. Power Cleaner F8 is compatible with all metals and materials commonly used in heating systems, including aluminium.
One 10L container of Power Cleaner F8 treats up to approximately 2000 litres of system water. Add the product via a suitable dosing point such as a dosing pot, header tank, or in-line system filter.
Power Cleaner F8 should be circulated throughout the system for a minimum of one hour at normal operating temperature. For heavily fouled systems, circulation time can be extended or the cleaner may remain in the system for up to one week under normal heating cycles.
Once cleaning is complete, the system must be drained and thoroughly flushed, until the water runs clear. When used with a powerflushing machine, refer to the unit manufacturer’s instructions and ensure dynamic flushing with mains water.
After cleaning, refill the system with fresh water and dose with a Fernox Protector, such as Protector F9 or Protector+ Filter Fluid, to provide long-term protection against corrosion and limescale.
For single feed indirect cylinders (e.g. ‘Primatic’ or similar), only potable water chemicals must be used.

Power Cleaner F8 10L is supplied in 10 litre drums, 20 litre drums, 205 litre drums and 1000 litre IBCs.
