The Fernox FM1 Stainless Steel Dosing Pot is a pre-assembled dosing vessel engineered for the safe and precise introduction of chemical treatments into closed-loop heating and chilled water systems without the need for system shutdown. It enables safer and more accurate dosing in commercial systems thanks to its extra-large tundish and supports compliant maintenance in line with BSRIA BG50/2021. Supplied as a complete package, the unit includes isolation valves, drain/fill valves, air release valve, and wall mounting bracket ready for immediate installation.

The Fernox FM1 Stainless Steel Dosing Pot provides a secure, reliable method for introducing water treatment chemicals such as inhibitors and biocides into sealed heating or cooling systems. Its corrosion-resistant stainless-steel body ensures durability and compatibility with all Fernox water treatment products.
Each unit is delivered pre-fitted with key components, including isolation valves, a drain and fill valve, air release, and a wall-mounting bracket. The extra-large tundish supports accurate chemical pouring, and the built-in safety valve prevents pressure-related accidents during maintenance.
The dosing pot should be installed between the flow and return pipework at a point with the highest differential pressure. Prior to dosing, the unit must be isolated and fully drained using the included valves. Chemicals are then introduced through the tundish, and reintegration is completed by gradually opening the isolation valves.
The Fernox FM1 Stainless Steel Dosing Pot is suitable for both heating and chilled water systems and fully compatible with all Fernox chemical treatments.
