The CA1 Vacuum Degasser operates independently of system flow rate and continuously optimises water quality by removing gases that accumulate during normal operation. Dissolved gases are released under vacuum conditions and safely vented from the system, preventing the formation of air pockets and corrosion-related issues.
Auto-refill models provide additional system pressure control by introducing degassed make-up water when required. Constructed with a stainless steel vessel and high-quality internal components, the CA1 is engineered for reliable long-term operation in commercial plantrooms.

Installed as a bypass to the main system pipework, the unit is typically located at the point of lowest system temperature and close to the expansion vessel to minimise pressure fluctuations. Compatible with clean water and inhibited glycol solutions, and suitable for use alongside Fernox system chemicals.

Operating Principle
System fluid is drawn into the vacuum vessel during the rinsing phase, where it mixes with system water and absorbs dissolved and free gases.
During the vacuum phase, the integrated pump generates reduced pressure within the vessel, causing dissolved gases to be released from the fluid. These gases collect at the top of the vessel and are automatically discharged via the integrated automatic air vent.
On auto-refill models, the system pressure is continuously monitored and degassed make-up water is introduced when required. This process enables continuous degassing and pressure stabilisation without interrupting system operation.

Each CA1 Vacuum Degasser is supplied fully assembled and factory-tested. The unit must be transported and stored in a vertical position and must not be stacked.
Installation and maintenance should only be carried out by qualified personnel. The unit must be installed indoors in a frost-free, well-ventilated area. Electrical power and system pressure must be isolated before servicing. Regular inspection of strainers and periodic servicing are recommended to ensure optimal performance.
