The Instant System Test is a convenient, easy to use method of testing the system water quality at the job site. The Instant System Test is supplied with 2 test strip vials and one turbidity tube. It allows the users to conduct three simple tests which, combined together, give the user instant recommendations on how to treat the system to ensure optimum performance.
The test strips determine the inhibitor concentration, pH and corrosion levels. The Turbidity Tube shows the amount of suspended solids in a system (i.e. turbidity).
The Fernox Instant System Test allows for compliance with BS 7593:2019, the Benchmark scheme, and may be required for compliance with boiler warranties.
This quick and simple on-site test kit tests for major parameters affecting water quality.
The Fernox Turbidity Tube shows the amount of suspended solids in a system (i.e. the turbidity). High levels of suspended solids show an ongoing corrosion problem and also present a danger to the efficiency and functionality of a system.
The combined Fernox Corrosion and pH Test Strips (50 strips) demonstrate the levels of dissolved metals in the system, which indicate the extent to which corrosion is an issue within the heating system. It also determines the acidic or alkaline levels within the system water. If the water is too acidic or too alkaline, metal corrosion will be accelerated, particularly in mixed metal systems.
The Express Inhibitor Test Strips (50 strips) indicates the presence and concentration of a corrosion inhibitor which ensures systems are protected against corrosion and limescale formation.
