Cleaner F3 10L

Product Code:
62555

A universal cleaner designed for use in HVAC and light commercial heating and cooling systems, Cleaner F3 can be used for the pre-commission cleaning of new systems, removing flux residues, oil/grease and other installation debris. Cleaner F3 can also be used to remove sludge, scale and other circulating debris in existing contaminated systems, therefore improving efficiency and avoiding damage to system components. This high performance, fast-acting cleaner is compatible with all metals and materials commonly used in heating and cooling systems, including steel and aluminium. One 10 litre product treats up to a 2000 litre system at a dose rate of 0.5%.

  • Universal, pH neutral cleaner for the pre-commission cleaning of new and existing HVAC and light commercial heating systems
  • Specially formulated to remove market leading fluxes, oils , greases, iron oxides and other system debris quickly and efficiently
  • Recommended to be left in the system for up to one week under operating conditions
  • Inhibited cleaner designed to protect the system during cleaning
  • Contains fast-acting dispersant technology which is suitable in all types of system water: hard, soft, artificially softened and demineralised water
  • Non-foaming formula which is easy to remove from the system after use, saving time on-site
Application

For optimum results, the entire system should be completely drainable. Cleaner F3 should be dosed at a concentration of 0.5%. The product can be introduced into the system via a suitable point such as a dosing pot. For pre-commission cleaning, circulate Cleaner F3 in the system for at least one hour at normal operating temperature. To remove sludge from existing systems, circulate under normal operating conditions, for up to 7 days until acceptable flow around the system has been achieved. Additional/ repeat applications of Cleaner F3 may be necessary if systems are heavily sludged. Drain and flush with cold water until the water is clear and the Cleaner F3 has been rinsed from the system. Finally, add an appropriate Fernox inhibitor such as Protector F1 to prevent further corrosion damage and scale deposits.
