FERNOX SPONSORS COINS CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY GRAND CHALLENGE

Fernox is proud to announce it’s sponsoring the COINS Construction Industry Grand Challenge. Offering the prize of a  paid internship to applicants within and outside of the UK, the runner up of Challenge 3: Leadership will experience innovation and leadership in practice within Fernox.

The COINS Construction Industry Grand Challenge is a competition aimed at supporting innovators from various backgrounds split into two competition streams for undergraduates and entrepreneurs (open). Each stream has three challenges aimed at encouraging innovation and ideas to address the global issues facing the construction industry and built environment today.

Sponsoring Challenge 3: Leadership, Fernox will support the continued professional development of the second place candidate with a paid internship or an alternative cash prize for future academic endeavours or research and development.

The Leadership Challenge varies between the two competitions. For the COINS Construction Industry Grand Challenge undergraduate competition, entrants must understand the key qualities of successful leadership and apply these within the context of the construction industry.

Open stream participants must submit a new vision or approach to leadership and have the personal qualities and potential to become a leader within the construction industry.

Francine Wickham, Global Marketing Director at Fernox, says; “Fernox is proud to sponsor the COINS Construction Industry Grand Challenge. Having pioneered the use of chemical water treatments since 1964 and led the market in product innovation, it is brilliant to support and encourage innovation in future generations.

“Fernox prides itself on its quality of product and maintaining the highest standards. As such, we are excited to offer a talented candidate the opportunity to work and develop alongside us.”

The COINS Industry Grand Challenge Grand Final will take place on 8th February 2017 at The Mermaid Conference & Events Centre, London.
